Description
A portrait style street image of the old town of Bordeaux, France. At the top of Rue Vital Carles, sits the vast, gothic style Saint Andre Cathedral, built between the 14th and 15th century, in what was the heyday of the construction of the great gothic Cathedrals of Europe, but the Cathedral grounds have a history dating all the way back to the year 814. Complete with ribbed vaults, flying buttresses, ornate doorways and a huge stained glass rose window, this imposing building has everything a great cathedral of its era should have. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this iconic French street scene.
