Annecy Castle (Chateau d'Annecy) has a history dating all the way back to the 12th Century and has been restored in recent times to it's former glory. This charming French landmark, which was home to the Counts of Geneva in the 13th and 14th centuries, sits high on a hill overlooking the picturesque old town of Annecy and is a must see for any visitor to the Haute-Savoie region of France. I blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment this historic French scene.
