Description
The low sun casting shadows and reflections on a cold winter's day in Hillerod just outside Copenhagen made for a perfect landscape. The Renaissance Frederiksborg Castle was built in the first decades of the 17th Century by the legendary Danish King Christian IV and today is one of the most beautiful places in Denmark to visit for a scenic stroll and to soak up the history of the area. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic Danish castle scene.
