Description
Well known for its great variety of restaurants, cafes and eateries, Rue Des Bouchers (Butcher Street in English) is a fusion of narrow lanes and alleys dating back to the 14th century and set in the very heart of historic Brussels. By night, colourful neon signs glow bright against the dark sky and the air is filled with the tempting culinary aromas of a ton of different cultures. By day, it's much quieter, yet to spring to life, tables set in anticipation of the evening crowds. In the distance, you can see the tall gothic steeple of the Town Hall (Hotel de Ville), dating all the way back to the middle ages. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this historic Belgian street scene.

So Beautifully Photographed Carol! I also love walking through old time towns looking in all the windows and thinking back how it use to be! L/F
