An antique, vintage map from the year 1870, of an aerial view over Salt Lake City, capital city of the State of Utah. This wonderfully nostalgic piece of history is from the Public Domain, and was drawn by Augustus Koch and published by Chicago Lithographing Co. The map also lists for reference notable public buildings, manufacturers, churches and hotels in the area at the time. The site of the massive neo gothic Salt Lake Temple can be seen at point No.1 on the map. This image has been restored and color corrected.
