A beautifully detailed antique, vintage map from the year 1888, of an aerial perspective over Sioux City, Iowa. This wonderfully nostalgic piece of history is from the Public Domain, and is by Beck & Pauli Lithographers of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, published by Henry Wellge & Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Also included, below the map are illustrated inserts showing Sioux City Corn Palace, a section of the Missouri River and The Peavey Grand Opera House and Chamber of Commerce Building. Two individual maps show 'Plat's and Additions to Sioux City' and Sioux City Transportation Facilities. There is also an index of prominent architecture of the area and a list of buildings of note, including churches, schools, stores and manufacturers. This map has been restored and color corrected.
