Description
A colorful image of the Mittlere Bruck (Middle Bridge) spanniing the Rhine River in the Swiss city of Basel. This fabulous seven arch stone bridge has a history going all the way back to 1226 and as such, is one of the oldest Rhine crossings between the North Sea and Lake Constance. It is a well used connection between the old and new towns of Basel, carrying pedestrians, vehicles and local trams over the water 24 hours a day. I blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the historic feel of this old world Swiss bridge scene.
