Bruges (or Brugge), a medieval jewel in the crown of northwest Belgium is filled with delightful wonders of a bygone era. Quaint, quiet corners to sit and enjoy your surroundings, peaceful canals to ride along in the cute little tour boats, seeing the city from a slightly different perspective and pretty cobbled streets crammed with character. Whatever your pleasure, you will find it in Brugge. Pictured here is the charming Minnewater Lake, a most romantic place if ever I saw one. Complete with ancient stone bridge and weeping willows, I could have spent all day here admiring the view. I hand blended a little texture with my original vintage style photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic Belgian lake scene.
