Description
The Graben in Vienna's City Centre has a long history leading all the way back to the middle ages. Today this beautiful street is lined with fine examples of various styles of architecture popular throughout the centuries, amongst them, Baroque and Romanesque. To the right of this image is the famous 'Pestaule' monument, a Baroque memorial erected in 1679 after the great Plague epidemic. A pleasant stroll along this pedestrian friendly shoppers paradise will bring you to the landmark St.Stephen's Cathedral. I blended a little texture with my original photograph taken during the festive season, to compliment this old world Viennese scene.
