Description
Built in Poland and launched in 1948, the SS Soldek, a coal and ore freighter, remained active until December 1980. Since then she has been preserved as a Museum Ship in Gdansk as part of the National Maritime Museum collection and is seen here moored in front of the granaries on the Motlawa River. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph in black and white, to compliment the vintage feel of this classic Polish maritime scene.
