Description
On the left of the image and taking its inspiration from Roman architecture, particularly the Colosseum, the Plaza de Toros de Valencia was built in the neoclassical style in the mid 19th Century by local architect Sebastian Monleon Estelles. The huge building holds 12,000 people and is one of the largest of its kind in Spain. On the right, Valencia's premier rail sation, The North Sation (Estacion del Norte), a wonderful example of Valencian Art Nouveau architecture. The facade proudly displays elements of local culture such as oranges, La Albufera (the lake) and Barracas (traditional Valencian houses), the building is fascinating, both inside and out. I hand blended textures with my original photograph in black and white, to compliement the old world feel of this classic Spanish city scene.

Aberjhani's Official Postered Chromatic Poetics
Find this B&W edition of LANDMARK ARCHITECTURE OF VALENCIA SPAIN as appealing as the color version but somehow more dramatic, which I like a lot.
