Description

One of the things I enjoy most about a stroll through the old narrow streets of Lisbon, Portugal, is the wonderful variety of windows, doors and balconies you discover. I think my favourite are the little verandas. Frequently they are obscured by that days laundry hanging precariously from tiny washing lines suspended above. Oftentimes you get to see the character and uniqueness, the style and individuality of them. Each one with a different story to tell of the people living behind them. I blended textures with my original photograph in selective color to compliment the vintage feel of this old world Lisbon street scene.
