Description
The picturesque area of Carouge in Geneva, Switzerland has a history dating all the way back to the early middle ages. With a style all of it's own and architecture quite different to the rest of the city, Carouge is known locally as 'small Italy'. A stroll through the intimate streets lined with quaint buildings complete with shuttered windows and pastel facades will tell you why. A magical overhead display of multi coloured umbrellas adorned one of those streets, adding to the already fairytale like atmosphere. This image has added texture.
