Description
An ancient stone corridor within one of the historic traboules of Vieux Lyon, France. Used by silk merchants as a means to transport their precious goods without ever exposing them to the damaging elements, all the way back to the 4th Century when these secret passageways and tunnels were first built, the traboules are a fascinating aspect of the city of Lyon and well worth exploring. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic French city scene in black and white.
