Description
Turin, capital of the Piedmont region in Northern Italy, a city that tantalizes all of your senses and always leaves you wanting more. The vibrant colours brought to life in the summer sun which feels wonderful as it rests on your skin, are a feast for the eyes. The textures of the ancient architecture never fail to intrigue you and as you run your hand over the timeworn stones you can't help but wonder about all the hands throughout history that have done the same. The ever present tooting of car horns and chatter of the locals are a strange but pleasant sort of symphony to the ears. The intoxicating aroma of Bicerin (A traditional espresso native to Turin) is guaranteed to tempt you and you simply cannot visit Italy without tasting some authentic Italian cooking, oh and a gelato of course! Pictured here is the Vittorio Emanuele I, a beautiful stone bridge spanning the River Po since 1810.
