Sunset at Quai Wilson Geneva Switzerland metal print by Carol Japp. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. By day Geneva Bains des Paquis area is a hive of activity, sun worshippers head to this lovely little area to relax, swim and enjoy the surroundings. As dusk falls, it's much quieter, the stroll along the jetty past the Paquis Lighthouse and on to the Marina, is pleasant and peaceful, as tourists and locals alike sit by the lake, enjoy a glass of wine or a beer and savour the scenery as the sun settles on Mont Saleve in the distance. I blended a little texture with my original photograph of the colourful boats and their reflections docked at Quai Wilson to compliment this nautical scene.

I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. I like to explore every nook and cranny of anywhere I visit and I'm always looking out for something unusual or unique, weird and wonderful, interesting and intriguing. For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
