Description
A short bus ride south of Warsaw's city centre will bring you to the Wilanow district. It is here that you will find a national treasure, the beautifully baroque late 17th century Wilanow Palace. Striking in cheerful bright yellow, it stood out in stark contrast to the gloomy background of a stormy winter's day. It is one of the few surviving precious monuments from an era where most have sadly been lost. I added texture to complete the vintage feel of the image.
