Description
A textured image of the USS Constitution, (also known as Old Ironsides). This beautiful historic ship was built in Boston's North End at Edmund Hartt's shipyard and launched in 1797, she is the world's oldest commissioned warship still afloat and quite a sight to see, well worth the trip over to Boston Navy Yard. On the left is the Bunker Hill monument. I hand blended a historical map of the Charlestown area from the year 1901 and a selection of textures with my original photograph in black and white to compliment the old world feel of this classic Boston scene.
