Description

Located in the Swiss city of Basel, alongside the river, St.Alban-Tal is a quaint, romantic quarter known locally as 'Little Venice' due to the pretty streams and canals flowing through the area. The medieval architecture is particularly endearing and it's very easy to imagine yourself in the same spot a few centuries ago, with nothing much having altered. It's tranquil and quiet, the lack of vehicles a pleasant change and it's very easy to forget you are still in the city.
