Description
Bruges (or Brugge), a medieval, historical city in the northwest of Belgium, is full of delightful wonders of a bygone era. Quiet corners to sit and enjoy your surroundings, peaceful canals to ride along in little tour boats, seeing the city from a slightly different perspective and pretty cobbled streets crammed with character. Whatever your pleasure, you will find it in Bruges. This idyllic scene is made even more enchanting by the long shadows cast by the stretching branches of skeletal trees in the low winter sun. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic Belgian canal scene in black and white.
