Artist's Description
A vintage map of the town of Wrentham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. This detailed antique map from the public domain was created 'from surveys under the direction of Henry Francis Walling, Civil Engineer' and published in 1851. An inset at the bottom left shows detail of Wrentham Centre. This reproduction map has been color corrected and restored but still shows signs of wear and tear due to age.

For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
