Description
There are so many places in the Swiss capital of Bern (or Berne) to stop and take a photograph. The well preserved medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site itself, is very picturesque with pretty pastel buildings and quaint winding streets galore. This particular spot under the Nydeggbrucke Bridge, (built in the mid 19th Century) with a perfect view of those charming Swiss homes on the River Aare was a favourite of mine. It's hard to imagine, but as I took this photo I could hear the odd growl from one of the Bears of Bern roaming around the Barengraben (Bear Park) behind me. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic Swiss riverfront scene.

Art is unquestionably one of the purest and highest elements in human happiness. It trains the mind through the eye, and the eye through the mind. As the sun colours flowers, so does art colour life. ― John Lubbock CONGRATULATIONS ON SALE!
