Description

Something I particularly enjoy whilst exploring Europe's Old Towns is the endless variety of doors, windows, balconies and shutters. It appears that no two homes are the same, each building unique and intriguing in its own way. I always find myself wondering about the character of the individuals responsible for the decor, of the personalities that made the choices, from the palest of pastels to the most vivid of shades, every one a pleasant surprise to stir the senses. Pictured here is one of the many that caught my eye in Lisbon, Portugal. I wondered who lived behind those vintage styled doors at No.35.
