Description
Colorful architecture in the Spanish capital city of Madrid. The twin towers of the Baroque style San Isidro Church can be seen in the centre of the image. This beautiful church near Plaza Mayor in the historic centre has a history dating back to the early 17th Century and was the official Cathedral of Madrid until 1993, when La Almudena took its place on completion. I added textures to this image to achieve a painterly look as I felt it particularly suited this vibrant old world scene.
