Description
Since 1998, the Vasco da Gama Bridge in the Parque das Nacoes area of Lisbon has taken passengers across the Tagus River. Named after the famous Portuguese explorer, this cable-stayed bridge, at a whopping 17km end to end, is the longest bridge entirely within Europe. It is so long that the curvature of the earth had to be taken into account during design and contruction of the bridge. Vasco da Gama Bridge Lisbon Portugal Black and White has added textures.
