Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Artist's Description

A textured image in black and white, of an ornate bronze door knocker and handle in the shape of a bird and arm disovered in the old town area of Gdansk, Poland. I'm always intrigued and amazed by the incredible craftsmanship and detailed work involved in the creation of these magnificent old door knockers gracing front entrances of homes and buildings in the older parts of most European cities. A closer look always reveals beautifully intricate details that perhaps go unnoticed by the casual passer by.

I like to explore every nook and cranny of anywhere I visit and I'm always looking out for something unusual or unique, weird and wonderful, interesting and intriguing. For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
