Description
A stroll by the banks of the Salzach River in Salzburg, Austria, is a popular Sunday pastime. Families, couples and people seeking some alone time take advantage of the picturesque pathways alongside the water. Beautiful vistas surround you in every direction and there are no shortage of pretty bridges to take you from side to side or serve as an ideal spot to photograph the scenery. Leaving the old town, I headed towards the Mullner Steg bridge. On turning to look behind, I was rewarded with a beautiful view of the city. The majestic Hohensalzburg Fortress dominating the skyline, a selection of domes and spires dotting the landscape, it all made for quite a magical scene. I added a little texture to The Magic of Salzburg to complete the vintage feel.
