Any thoughts of the Christmas Markets of Europe will conjure up images of brightly coloured baubles and other sparkly festive decorations, chilly weather, perhaps even snow but most of all, the rich aromas of mulled wine, sweet sticky treats and local delicacies cooking slowly on hot stoves while you wait. Pictured in here in the markets of Germany, the historic buildings of the old town square as a backdrop, heart shaped gingerbreads hang temptingly from stalls wishing everyone a Merry Xmas. I hand blended textures with my original photograph to compliment the vintage feel of this typical European Christmas Market scene.
