Description
Valencia is a city filled with wonderful architecture. Old and new, historic and ultra modern, ornate and simple, each street has a mixture of styles and you never know quite what you will discover. I particularly liked the colorful decorative tiled band near the top floor of this beautiful Beaux Arts style corner building in the business district which stands at a great vantage point for being visible all the length of Carrer de les Barques. The lush greens of the huge palm trees create a perfect natural frame and the wrought iron balconies of adjacent buildings add to the nostalgic charm. I blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic Valencian street scene.
