Description
The ornate facades and wrought iron balconies of old Lisbon are a perfect backdrop for any photographer. Ancient streetlamps cast long shadows over the cobblestone streets as the sun dips behind buildings that have occupied the same spot for a very long time. The Bairro Alto area, high on the hill overlooking the main arteries of the city is always a pleasant place to stroll, either during the sleepy daylight hours when the heat slows everything down to a snails pace or under the spell of darkness when the clubs, restaurants and cafes come to life with residents and visitors dressed in their finest party attire.
