The picturesque Alpine town of Annecy, in the Haute-Savoie area of Southeastern France, has a history dating all the way back to Roman times. In an idyllic location, nestled between mountains and lake, this fairytale area is filled with old town charm. A stroll along the canal is the ideal way to spend an afternoon, stopping to admire the chocolate box, pastel coloured facades, topped with red tile roofs, the towering French Alps as a perfect backdrop. I blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the vintage feel of this old world French scene.
