Description
There are several notable railway stations in the Portuguese capital Lisbon. The oldest and for me most atmospheric is this one, Santa Apolonia. Centrally located, in the heart of the historic Alfama district, along the banks of the Tagus River, it has served local and international passengers since its opening in 1865. Based on the traditional neoclassical style of the era, the pleasant powder blue interior mirrors the similar sky outside perfectly. This terminus is the beginning and end point of journeys as far afield as Madrid and Porto. This image has added texture.

Love the urban feel of this capture - mixed with the graffiti colors and geometrics of the station. Great work!
