Description
A leisurely walk along the banks of Salzburg's Salzach River, is a popular pastime. Couples, families, and people seeking a little alone time take advantage of the picturesque pathways on either side of the water. Majestic vistas sprawl in every direction and there are plenty of well positioned bridges to take you across or serve as an ideal spot to admire your surroundings. The landmark Hohensalzburg Fortress dominates the skyline, a selection of brightly colored domes and spires dot the landscape and the peaks of The towering Alps are visible in the distance. Its all quite magical. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic Austrian city scene.
