It seems like everywhere you go these days sooner or later you will stumble upon a bridge, a gate or some railings adorned with these colorful tokens left by visitors and locals alike to profess their undying love to the world. It was therefore no surprise to discover them in one of the most historically romantic cities of all, Verona, Italy. I find them fascinating and will freely admit to always stopping to have a peek at some of the names and dates etched on them, sometimes looking at those that have rusted and tarnished through time and exposure to the elements, wondering if the relationships themselves have weathered better than the love locks. Oh and in case anyone was wondering, I did see a 'Romeo & Juliet' in there! ;) Rusty Love in Verona has added textures.
