Artist's Description

A vintage map of the Navy Yard, Washington DC. This beautifully detailed plan from the public domain was published in 1881 and shows the position and dimensions of all the buildings as they were June 1st 1881. An index at the bottom right of the map shows the position of Officers Quarters and Yard Buildings. This reproduction map has been restored and converted to black and white, but still shows some signs of age.
