Description
Milan's Central Railway Station is one of the busiest in Europe. The ebb and flow of hurried passengers is constant from first thing in the morning till last thing at night and beyond as trains from all over arrive and depart Milano Centrale. Officially opened in 1931, the fae of this enormous station set a record high when built. It has 24 platforms and serves around 120 million passengers a year. A busy place by all accounts! Worth a visit for the architecture alone, a blend of many styles including Liberty and Art Deco.

Beautiful this is ....I am reminded of memories of Waterloo station. Taking the train to Leeds with bacon and tomato baguette in hand waiting for a cup of tea. Lovely!
