Description
Located within the grounds of Edinburgh Zoo, the historic Mansion House was built in 1793 and was previously known as Corstorphine Hill House before being purchased by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland in 1912. The building was influenced by many different types of architectural styles including Georgian, Rococo, Neo-Georgian, Neo-Baroque, Neo-Classical, Beaux Arts and Regency and as such is absolutely fascinating both inside and out. This remarkable structure, now a popular wedding venue, even has it's own ghost, with many sightings of a 'grey lady' having been noted over the years. Mansion House Edinburgh Scotland has added textures.
