Description
The fairytale city of Verona, in the Veneto region of Northern Italy, has long been linked with romance. Travelers from all over the world arrive in Italy to visit Casa di Giulietta and see Juliet's balcony in person. Despite Shakespeare's star crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, being a work of fiction, and the balcony inauthentic, having been added a later date to the original 13th Century 'Capello' home, this doesn't deter a multitude of hopeless romantics visiting this little courtyard in the old town. I blended a little texture with my original photograph in black and white to compliment the vintage feel of this classic Veronese scene.
