A vintage map from the year 1890 of The city of Seattle, Washington. This town plan from the public domain, is by O.P.Anderson & Co. Engineers and Draughtsmen, and shows a grid layout of the streets of Seattle and the surrounding areas of Elliott Bay, Puget Sound, Lake Union, Lake Washington and Mercer Island. A detailed insert charts the greater Seattle area all the way to Bainbridge Island, Lake Sammamish, Whidby Island in the North and Vashon Island in the South. Ferry and steamboat routes and railroad tracks are also visible. This image has been restored and color corrected.
