A vintage, pictorial map from the year 1934 depicting the history of the Boston Common and Beacon Hill areas from 1630 - 1830. The map includes wonderful historic illustrations of such Boston landmarks as Boston Public Garden, Frog Pond and The Swan Bosts, Massachusetts State House, Brimstone Corner and Park Street Church. This image from the Norman B. Leventhal Map Centre is by Griswold Tyng and has been restored and converted to warm sepia tone.
