A very early map of the Italian city of Florence as it was in the middle of the 18th century. This beautifully detailed, pictorial map from the public domain is by Giuseppe Molini and was originally drawn in 1731 by Ferdinando Ruggieri, a renowned Florentine architect. This historic map is from the year 1847 and features landmarks of the city of Florence including the River Arno, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza Vecchia, Ponte Vecchio and The Basilica di Santa Croce. This image has been converted to sepia tone.
