Vibrantly colored architecture lines the streets of the historic Croix-Rousse neighborhood of Lyon, France. High on the hill, this historic district, with strong ties to Lyon's involvement with the silk industry, can be seen from all around the city. It is well worth the climb up the many stairs to reach this treasure and seek out the hidden traboules and passageways that add even more mystery and charm to this wonderfully lively and fascinating area. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this vintage Lyon city scene.
