I'm always intrigued and amazed by the incredible craftsmanship and detailed work involved in the creation of these magnificent old door knockers gracing front entrances of homes and buildings in the older parts of most European cities. A closer look always reveals beautifully intricate details that perhaps go unnoticed by the casual passer by.
