Description
One of the best things about Lisbon's old town is the ancient trams trundling up and down the many hills and narrow winding streets, often packed to capacity and ringing their little bells to warn pedestrians of their approach. No trip to the Portuguese capital is complete without a trip on a Lisbon Tram. Pictured here are the twin trams of Elevador da Gloria (or Gloria Funicular) which have been operational since 1885, still climbing that hill!

What an Amazing Image, well timed, beautifully exposed and I like how the pedestrians are walking, blending as if with the brush of the artist into the scene. Lovely Work, Carol! Funny how the street lamp seems to bend as well.
