Dreaming of Venice - Venice has to be one of the most magical cities in the world. Steeped in history, atmosphere and colorful character, it is truly the stuff of dreams. Palatial palazzo's flank either side of the Grand Canal, the emerald green water glistening jewel like as it winds it's way through this mystical maze. Fine details are everywhere, from the elaborate, vintage, red tinted street lamps, to the ornate facade of the Doge's Palace. It's easy to get lost in the labyrinth that is Venice, but it's a place you don't mind going off the beaten track in, never knowing what is around the next corner is part of the city's allure. I blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment this old world Italian city scene.
