Description
Historic Dluga Street (or Long Market) is one of the main attractions of Gdansk Old Town and part of the Royal Route. Beautifully ornate pastel coloured buildings and antique style street lamps line each side of this inviting, pedestrian only street that stretches from the Golden Gate to the Town Hall from where it then becomes Dlugi Targ. On the right, seen here in moonlight, the distinctive spire of the Main Town Hall, built in the renaissance baroque style in the 15th century, this elegant building is one of the most significant landmarks of the city. I blended painterly style textures with my original photograph in black and white to compliment the old world feel of this classic Polish street scene.
