Description
Many visitors to the Austrian capital Vienna take a trip on the historic No.71 tram to the Simmering district in the outskirts of the city to the Zentralfriedhof (Central Cemetery). Opened in 1874 and one of the largest in the world with over 3 million interments, it is still in use today and most likely will be for many years to come. After entering through the main gate, the first thing you see is the silhouette of the green domed Charles Borromeo Church at the end of the long walkway stretched out before you. The church was built in the Art Nouveau style between 1908-1910. Charles Borromeo Church Zentralfriedhof Vienna has a little added texture.
