Description
The Speicherstadt (city of warehouses) area lies within the HafenCity Quarter in the Port of Hamburg. Built between 1883 and 1927 in the neo gothic, red brick architectural style, these buildings have entrances by land and water. Both impressive and grand, the UNESCO World Heritage status is certainly deserved. There are13 unique bridges crossing the canals of the Wandrahm, giving access to the island, one of which can be seen in this textured image.
