Description
The historic city of Bruges, North Belgium is a nostalgic warren of tiny streets and alleys, colourful guild houses and medieval architecture and charming little canals winding their way silently through the town. As an area criss crossed with canals, the need for bridges is great, as you can imagine. This pretty stone bridge on Wollestraat is recognizable by its statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, the Czech (Bohemia at the time) patron Saint of Bridges. I blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment this vintage European street scene.
