Description
The bicycle is a very popular mode of transport in the Danish capital, Copenhagen. The city is made for bikes, with lanes, routes and bridges exclusively for the use of cyclists, to be found everywhere. Here, a lone bicycle awaits it's owner on the octagonal courtyard of Amalienborg Palace. A beautiful architectural gem, built in the 18th Century and home of the Danish Royal Family, this fabulous building is situated between the harbour and the city, and if you happen to be there at 12pm, you can witness the daily complete change of the Royal Guard. I blended textures with my original photograph to compliment the vintage feel of this historic Danish scene.
